How I Restarted My Career After a 5-Year Break — and Built a Million-Dollar Business

I’m a lawyer by degree 📜, but my real story began after I took a five-year career break following marriage.

Like many women, I reached a point where I wanted to restart my career — but this time, I wanted to do it on my own terms. I was looking for something that allowed me to:

• Work remotely (and still have time for my family)

• Do something I genuinely enjoyed

Fast forward a few years — I now run a Microsoft training and consulting business across Dubai and India, focused on:

Today, I handle both corporate training and enterprise consulting, working with global clients and certified trainers. Our business has grown to about a million USD per year, entirely built on Microsoft’s technology ecosystem — and the best part is, I get to do it with the flexibility to work from home.

Recently we became Databricks Partner as well and started offering training & consultation in Python , JavaScript , Oracle , PostgreSql

Along the way, I’ve also had the chance to mentor and guide many women who wanted to restart their careers, add value, and feel that spark of achievement again. 💪
